WATT Global Media GAI Usage Policy

WATT Global Media prides itself on creating original content that informs professionals in the poultry, egg, animal feed, pet food and feed and grain industries, allowing them to have a greater knowledge of their industries. WATT has a generative AI (GAI) use policy for employees and contractors. GAI is used to increase efficiency of workflows and to enhance reader experience. The company’s editorial content team uses GAI to assist in the research and development of stories, but WATT does not use GAI to write standalone articles and other content.
The work of our content creators is protected by our copyright. Any content generated by GAI is clearly identified – in articles and blogs as well as in captions for GAI-generated images. We will only use GAI to generate content that is factually accurate and properly sourced. Our journalists have final editorial control over any content generated using GAI. We will never present GAI-generated content as the work of a human journalist.
